Ultraviolet Indirect Air Disinfection Designed for Occupied Spaces with Little Maintenance Needed

STER-L-RAY ® Slimline Germicidal UV-C Lamps
The Hygeaire® Ultraviolet Indirect Air Disinfection units use STER-L-RAY ® Instant Start Germicidal UV-C Lamps. STER-L-RAY ® Germicidal Lamps are shortwave, low pressure tubes that produce ultraviolet wavelengths lethal to microorganisms. Approximately 95% of the ultraviolet energy emitted from STER-L-RAY ® germicidal lamps is at 254 nanometers, the region of germicidal effectiveness most destructive to bacteria, mold and virus.
Surelite™ Electronic Ballasts
Surelite™ Electronic Ballasts are superior to magnetic ballasts. These ballasts are instant start and specifically developed for use with ultraviolet lamps. They are smaller, lighter, silent, and provide higher lamp output while using less energy than magnetic ballasts.
The Hygeaire® uses a unique, variable output electronic ballast with a dimming control feature mounted on its base — providing individual control of the germicidal lamp output.
Reflective Chamber
Lamps are housed within a polished stainless steel chamber. Light reflects inside the chamber and the ultraviolet radiation intensity is maximized.
Louvered Panel
Room occupants stay safe from the UV radiation. The louvered panel directs UV rays to the upper portion of the room.
Steadfast™ Lampholders
Steadfast™ Lampholders have a spring-loaded telescopic holder on one end and a stationary holder on the other which makes lamp change quick and easy.
Interlock Safety Switch
The interlock safety switch kills power to the Hygeaire® when the fixture is opened. This standard feature protects maintenance technicians from exposure to ultraviolet radiation when they perform unit cleaning and annual lamp replacement.
3 Ultraviolet Indirect Air Disinfection Models for Different Room Configurations
Hygeaire® Model LIND24-EVO Wall Mount comes equipped with 1 STER-L-RAY ® lamp and 1 louvered panel. The back panel has 4 pre-drilled installation holes to allow for direct wall mounting. Safe mounting requires the bottom of the unit to be no closer than 7’ from the floor and in a location able to support 16 pounds. It is the smallest of the 3 models, sized at 24” L x 5 11⁄32” W x 7 7⁄8” D.
Hygeaire® Model LIND30-EVO Wall Mount comes equipped with 1 STER-L-RAY ® lamp and 1 louvered panel. The back panel has 4 pre-drilled installation holes to allow for direct wall mounting. Safe mounting requires the bottom of the unit to be no closer than 7’ from the floor and in a location able to support 20 pounds. It is the medium-sized model, sized at 30” L x 5 3⁄8” W x 8 5⁄16” D.
Hygeaire® Model LIND24-EVO-2PM Pendent Mount is sized at 24” L x 10 17⁄32” W x 7 7⁄8” D. It comes equipped with 2 STER-L-RAY ® lamps and 2 louvered panels. This unit installs from an included pendent mount to allow air exposure on both sides. Safe mounting requires the bottom of the unit to be no closer than 7’ from the floor and in a location able to support 32 pounds.
