A Legacy of Longevity
In a day with many UV disinfection companies, it may be difficult to separate the good from the bad. While thousands of products claim to accomplish the same thing, some use cheap materials or make other compromises. When fly-by-night companies go out of business, customers are without the support they need and may be forced to buy new products without any history behind them.
At Atlantic Ultraviolet Corporation, our 60 years of engineering and manufacturing set us apart from other UV companies that have come and gone over the years. Our product lines — most of which have been manufactured for decades — are constructed from stainless steel and the highest quality materials. Our talented team of UV Specialists will be available for years to come, ready to support our customers with their ultraviolet needs. Read a selection of our product history below.

Sanitaire® UV Room Air Sanitizers
SANITAIRE® was created as a second option to help prevent cross infection in crowded or poorly ventilated areas. Instead of relying on upper air circulation (like our Hygeaire®), these models use a blower to draw in room air. A storage cover protects lamps during transportation and allows for testing through an observation port.
2009: The Prime model — as it begins to be called — is updated with a digital control panel for up to 24-hour treatment, a stainless steel cage to guard against lamp breakage, and an audible exit warning alarm. The storage cover takes a new form to wrap around the protective lamp guard.
2016: The introduction of the Plus model with 8 high output STER-L-RAY® lamps and the capacity to disinfect larger spaces. It features a remote for controlling the unit from a distance, and occupancy sensors for detecting personnel during treatment.
